Welcome to the new St. George web site—a showcase of our vertical community in the heart of the ByWard Market. The focus of this site is to depict the life style and convivial atmosphere that are unique features of the St. George.

The site will enhance communication among owners and residents, feature our social gatherings and other activities of interest and keep you abreast of ongoing projects affecting our building. It will also ensure you are better informed about policies and new regulations aimed at improving your comfort, safety and enjoyment.

The ultimate objective of this site is to serve as the primary communication medium to owners and residents and to promote our building and our quality of life.

Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Customer Service Standard (deadline January 1, 2012) applies to condominiums. What does it mean for the St. George?

In general, the new Ontario Standard applies to all services provided by the Condominium Corporation, including maintenance and repair of common elements and facilities, access to common elements, calling meetings, enforcing bylaws and rules and communicating with owners and residents. These services are to be performed in a way that gives persons with disabilities "an opportunity equal to that given to others to obtain, use and benefit from the goods and services."

So is the St. George compliant?

St. George Volunteer Merit Award Recipients for 2011

Six hardworking volunteers were each presented with a set of crystal wine glasses engraved with the St. George crest as a token of our thanks for their years on the Social Committee.
